Marietta Morgan, 83, of Denton, died Sunday January 15, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. Mrs. Morgan was born on July 13, 1922 in Denton, Texas to Beanud and Dona Dell (Crout) Williams. She was married to James Morgan on May 4, 1941 in Fort Worth, TX. She had worked as a Nurse during WWII and several Denton area hospitals. She devoted her life to taking care of and nurturing family and friends. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, VFW Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church in Krum.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 21, 2006 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Dr. Richard Montgomery will officiate the service. Visitation will follow the service.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, LaDell M. and Bill Gilbreath of Denton; two grandchildren, DeAnn Woodall of Spring, TX and William Randall Gilbreath of Austin, TX; two great grandchildren.
Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
