Maria Socorro Sosa, 68, of Odessa/Denton Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.
She was born on May 27, 1947 in Pyote, TX. She was a loving mother to three children, Gloria Sepulbeda, Josephine Hidalgo, and Hector Cerda Jr.
She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Joe Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, Mayra Sanchez, Jonathan Reyes, Arturo Reyes Jr., Omar Reyes, Michael Reyes, Stephanie Cerda, and Donna Cerda. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral viewing will be held on Friday February 19, 2016 at Denton Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 1:00PM to 8:00PM and rosary will be held at 7:00PM.
