Maria Bertha Rivera-Cervantes, 77, born May 26, 1936 to Jose Rivera and Socorro Cervantes in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2014 in Denton.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Porfirio Ruiz; daughters, Maria Elena Ruiz Rivera, Elia Leonor Ruiz Rivera, Sonia Patricia Ruiz Rivera and Socorro Sanchez Rivera; son, Benjamin Ruiz Rivera; grandchildren, Sergio Roberto Garza Ruiz, Ruben Porfiro Bustos Ruiz, Jesus Antonio Garza Ruiz, Jose Hervey Palao Ruiz, Oswaldo Aaron Palao Ruiz, Liliana Garza Ruiz, David Brandon Bustos Ruiz, Benjamin Ruiz Menchaca, and Emiliano Ruiz Menchaca; great-grandson, Sergio Garza Garcia.
A graveside service will held on Wednesday, April 30. 2014 at 11:00 AM at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton.
