We regretfully announce the passing of Maria De Lourdes Pineda, age 72, who passed away surrounded by her loved ones on October 29, 2022 in Arlington, TX.  She will be forever loved and forever remembered.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Juan Luis Pineda and her father Jose Natividad Contreras.  She is survived by her mother, Francisca Contreras and 3 brothers, Steve Contreras (Armida), Natividad Contreras (Diane), and Peter Contreras (Cynthia) and 1 sister, Guillermina Rodriguez (Carlos), her five children, Veronica Lujan, Artemio Contreras (Elsie), Tony John Pineda, Freddy Pineda and Jamie Harris and her 14 grandchildren, Jonathon Lujan, Jacob Lujan (Carolina), Jazmine Lujan, Leslie Contreras, Emily Contreras, Ashia Pineda, Ashlyn Pineda, Adela Pineda, Azalea Pineda, Elijah Harris, Selena Harris, Devan Harris Jr., Malik Harris, Nivea Harris and 12 great grandchildren Jennavecia Lujan, Aliyah Lujan, Bentley Lujan, Mohammed Lujan, Bella Lujan, Jocelyn Lujan, Jake Lujan, Josiah Harris, Zaylin Harris, Gyasi Tadesse, Zavier Harris, Kaylani Harris, Layah Harris.

Maria's favorite color was purple, loved planting trees and all types of plants.  Maria loved to care for all her pets. (Cats, dogs, pigs, chickens, ducks, birds and even a turkey).

Maria was a baptized member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation on Windsor Street in Denton, Tx.  Maria loved preaching the Word of Jehovah alongside her brothers and sisters.  Maria looked forward to attending all the meetings and assembly's.  Maria remained very loyal to her faith up to the very end.

Maria is now asleep in God's memory until the resurrection when death will be no more. (Rev. 21:4)
