MARIA HUTCHISON

Maria Hutchison, age 63 of Denton, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2012 in the arms of God and surrounded by all those who loved her deeply.

Maria was born on December 4th,1948 in Boston, Massachusetts to Maurice and Pauline (Katchakowski ) Stevens. She moved to California where she met the love of her life, her soul mate, David Hutchison. Maria married at the age of 13 and passed away at 63 with a lifetime filled with memories. She has touched our lives and souls and was truly a blessing to us all. Her presence in our lives was a gift we will always be thankful for, in addition to her cooking. She would feed an Army if asked. She had laughter and a smile that was contagious and would light up a room. Maria retired from Russell Newman after 18 years as the Shipping Secretary and missed her co-workers, truck drivers, pitching quarters and selling of the football pools.

Maria is survived by David, her husband, of 49 years, son James and wife Shayla Hutchison, daughter Joanna Hutchison, granddaughter Kirstan Hutchison, grandsons Garrett Hutchison, Hunter Lynch and Jory Hutchison, sister Carol Nelson, and beloved dog Charly.

The Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 11:00 am. Father Richard Kirkland will conduct the Mass with Deacon Emilio "Popo" Gonzalez assisting.
