Margot Mainous, born November 27, 1952 passed away July 13, 2013 at her home in Denton, TX. Margot was 60 years old.
A beloved daughter and sister, Margot was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Frank Mainous; She is survived by her brother, Doug Mainous, sister-in-law, Sandy, niece, Jessi, nephew, Jimmie, as well as her cousins, Ben, Sam, Beth, Mary and Marti.
Born and raised in Denton--whether bowling each Monday, attending her mother's concerts, or shopping and eating out, Margot and her father, Frank were well known about town.
For more than 40 years Margot attended a daily workshop where she performed a variety of tasks. She was also a long-time attendee at First Baptist Denton's "Special Needs Ministry" Sunday school class.
Margot was good, kind and loved to laugh. She will be missed and leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
Margot's memorial service will be held Saturday, August 10, at 2:00 PM in the Cindy Nichols Chapel at First Baptist Denton.
