Margie Capehart Powers, age 85, of Mesquite, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 12, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Marcus Leonard Capehart, Jr. and Agnes Cecelia Daniel Capehart.  Margie married Robert A. Moore, Jr., the father of her four children, whom she divorced in the late 1950's. Margie married Leo P. Purcell in 1968 who preceded her in death in 1974.   She then married Marven Powers in 1984 who preceded her in death in 1997.  Margie was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children; Donna Rick, Cindy Fleegle, Mark Moore and Debora Moore; six grandchildren; Michelle Martz, Lisa Fleegle, Marissa Rick, Kim Goode, Dan Rick and Leslie Svadlenak; eleven great grandchildren; brother-in-law, William Deering and sister-in-law, Peggy Capehart. Margie was preceded in death by one grandson, Mike Rick and one great granddaughter, Ashley Navarre.

Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell. Entombment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A prayer vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m.  Monsignor Leon Duesman will officiate the service.

The family invites friends and relatives to join them for food and storytelling at Donna Rick's house, 512 Monti Drive, Lewisville, Texas 75057 following the entombment on Thursday.
