Margaret Evelyn Belvin, 85, of Sunset, TX passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 in Krum, TX. She was on born July 21, 1928 in Biardstown, TX to Joel and Ruby (Poteet) Bolton. She was a homemaker and was married to Jerrell Stricklin on June 16, 1949, and he passed away on July 21, 1996, then she married R.B. Belvin on March 29, 2002 in Alvord, TX. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Mrs. Belvin is survived by her husband, R.B. Belvin of Alvord; son, Bryan Stricklin of Denton; daughters, Bonnie and husband Mike Edwards of Paradise, TX, Lori and husband Thomas Jajacate of The Woodlands, TX; sisters, Helen and husband Horace Greer of Cortez, CO, Doral and husband Dale Emery of Denton, Joann and husband Lloyd of Tahlow, WI, Sue and husband Don Newsom of Plainview, TX; brother, Buddy Bolton of Paris, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, B.H. Bolton of Grand Prairie, TX, Karen Fruen of Tom Bean, TX, John Belvin of Milpitas, CA and Billie Levinson of Anaheim, CA. She was preceded in death by sisters, Rachell Bolton and Sady Starks; brothers, Hubert Bolton, Vester Bolton and Shorty Bolton;
A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX with Sam Bolton officiating.
