Marceline S. Deeter, age 81, recently of Era, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007. Marceline was born on March 19, 1925 in Trout Creek, MI to Ernest and Mattie Angel Barney. She married Jess E. Deeter in 1976 in Garden Grove, CA.
Survivors include her husband, Jess E. Deeter of Denton; daughter, Dolly Victorson and husband Dick of Flower Mound, TX; son, Richard Waak and wife Barbara of Delton, MI; two sisters, Adelle Himes of Ann Arbor, MI and Doris Pierson of Saginaw, MI; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held, 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the Era United Methodist Church in Era, TX. Reverend David Dunson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761; Era United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 100 Bolivar Rd., Era, TX 76238 or the Good Samaritan Village, 2500 Hinkle Dr., Denton, TX.
