Manuel Perez Sr., 76, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019 at his home in Denton. Manuel was born on March 10, 1942 in Rio Hondo, TX the son of Joe Perez and Michelle Silva Perez.

Manuel was a long time employee of and retired from the City of Denton. He is preceded in death by his wife Antonia E. Perez in 2003, son Arturo Perez and granddaughter Tina Soto. He is survived by two daughters, Juanita Perez and Lupe Perez, both of Denton; four sons, Adam Perez of Denton; Manuel Perez and his wife Virginia of Brady, TX; Francisco Perez and his wife Tina of Denton; and Abel Perez and his wife Maggie of Denton; along with two sisters Maria Del Torres of Delio, TX and Francis Ortega of Prosper, TX; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX. A visitation is planned for Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust in Denton, with a rosary at 7:00pm.
