Mamie Dell Richards, 89, of Denton passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018. Mamie was born on November 2, 1928 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Robert Lee Harrison and Effie Mae Lawson Harrison.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ray Richards in 1998. She is survived by sons Otha Lee Thomas and wife Vicki of Justin and Charles Wayne Thomas of Denton; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Irving, Texas. Visitation will be from 9am to 10 am just before the service.
