Mildred Lerena Conover, age 73, a longtime resident of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009.

She was born August 19, 1935 in Boswell, Oklahoma to William Jefferson Jones and Lavada Lerena Jones. Mildred married Norman Wallace Conover on October 5, 1953. She was owner of Shady Tree Learning Center in Lewisville.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Norman Wallace Conover; five children, Alfred Conover, Norma Conover, Juanita Hightower, Eva Cler and Tindall Conover; thirteen grandchildren, Candice Parker, Keith Cochran, Keenan Cochran, Erin Stevenson, Stormi Hightower, Courtney Cler, James Kroening, Aaron Kroening, Rickey Kroening, Zach Conover, Mackenzie Cler, Casey Cler and Scott Cler; three great grandchildren, Vanessa Benivedes, Aiden Benivedes and Jaxon Stevenson; sister Dorothy Irene Armstrong and brother, Richard Keith Jones. She was preceded in death by sisters, Juanita Plew and Sara Onita Maples and brother, J.C. Jones.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A graveside service will be held at Wade Cemetery in Wade, Oklahoma.
