Lura Lee Pyeatt, 93, entered heaven on August 10, 2018. Services will be held Sunday, August 12th at Denton Funeral Home, 120 S. Carroll Blvd., Denton, Tx. at 2:00pm.

Burial will follow at Trickham Cemetery in Brown County on Thursday, August 16th at 2:00pm.

Lura was born July 11, 1925 in Uvalde, Tx to Robert C Farris and Reba (Carder) Farris. Preceding her in death are her parents, her son Larry Wheeler and sister Jackie Jones. She married Claude Wheeler in Del Rio, Tx and later married J.B. Pyeatt in Midland, Tx both of which are deceased.

She attended Cornerstone Christian Church and Midland Church of God in Midland. She contributed to many charitable organizations throughout her life including PTCB and purchased a satellite terminal. She loved the Lord and expressed that in both her giving and her poems.

She is survived by daughter, Janet Wheeler Mullis, and husband, Jim Mullis, as well as grandchildren Wade Mullis, Dale Mullis, Clint Wheeler, Cody Wheeler and ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great children.
