Luis Enrique Samaniego, 84, of Denton, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Medical City Hospital of Denton.

Mr. Samaniego was born on July 15, 1935 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Francisco and Ofelia (Bernabe) Samaniego. He earned a bachelor's in accounting and worked as a building superintendent.

Luis is survived by his sons, Irving Samaniego of Denton, Dennis Samaniego of Keller; daughters-in-law, Robin and Helen, sisters, Alicia Rodriguez of Florida, Alegria Miranda of New York; brothers, Pepe Samaniego of Ecuador, Carlos Samaniego of Ecuador; grandchildren, Erika Samaniego and Joseph Samaniego. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Torres) Samaniego and a sister, Bella Gomez.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton.
