Lucille Hollaway, 93, of Denton, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the home of her Grandson in Crandall. She was born July 25, 1917 in Henrietta, TX to Benjamin and Myrtle (Fultz) VanWinkle. She attended Petrolia High School, and was retired from the City of Denton, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton.
A visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Mulkey Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home 705 N. Locust, Denton and a visitation will be held on Friday August 20, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, TX from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon followed by a 2 P.M. Graveside service at the Petrolia Cemetery in Petrolia, TX with Rev. Randy Osborn, officiating.
Mrs. Hollaway is survived by three sons, Ronnie Hollaway of Lewisville, Rodney Hollaway of Denton, and Terry Hollaway of Plano; two sisters, Helen Ruth Patrick, and Margaret Bryant both of Petrolia, TX; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
