Lucille “Luci” Ann Ensminger, 77, of Argyle, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held at Denton Bible Church on October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Luci was born in Artesia, California, in 1949, to Herve and Claire Tessier. She grew up in Santa Ana, California, alongside her older sisters, Carole, Kay, and Shirley. As a child, Luci enjoyed watching Little Women, reading Nancy Drew books, and playing with her sisters. After graduating from Santa Ana High School, Luci attended Santa Ana College. She met Dale Ensminger while working at a large avionics company in Southern California. They married on March 30, 1973, and, as newlyweds, lived in Copenhagen, Denmark for several years before settling in Texas.

Luci was a loving wife to Dale for 52 years, and together they raised their two children, Kara and Derek, in North Texas. Luci found joy in cooking, crafting, traveling, caring for her family, volunteering at church, participating in Bible studies, and spending time with her sisters. She especially treasured celebrating holidays with her family. Luci and Dale were longtime members of Denton Bible Church.

Luci was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her parents, Herve Tessier and Claire Weckerly; and her sister, Carole Hardy. She is survived by her sisters, Kay Schrock, of Mesquite, Texas, and Shirley Sawyer, of Denton, Texas; her daughter, Kara Arnold, and son-in-law, Matthew Arnold, of Argyle, Texas, and their sons, Hudson and Lucas Arnold; and her son, Derek Ensminger, and daughter-in-law, Kitty Ensminger, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and their children, Will, Abby, and Link Ensminger.
