Loyce Bradley Davis
Loyce Bradley Davis, age 82 of Denton, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
She was born on January 7, 1929 in Montague County, Texas to Charlie and Lola McDowell Bradley; she was the youngest of five daughters. She was married to Floyd Davis on February 18, 1948 in Palestine, Texas. She was a resident of Muleshoe, Bailey County, Texas for 35 years and worked 17 years for Lindsay's Jewelry and was engaged in farming with her husband. She and her husband moved to Denton in 1999.
Family visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Union Hill Cemetery in Alvord, Texas. Jim Hill of Denton Bible Church will officiate.
She is survived by her husband Floyd Davis of Denton, four sons, Charles and wife Debbie of Waller, Texas; Allen of Amarillo, Texas; Brad and wife Avonna of Denton, Texas; and Lindel and wife Nancy of Bells, Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
