Obituary
Loveta Sonntag Payne, age 91, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in Gunter, Texas.
She was born August 13, 1915 in Frisco, Texas to Herman and Ulmer Webb Sonntag. Loveta married Max Payne on November 25, 1936 in Plano. He preceded her in death on
January 29, 1996. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dallas and worked for Neiman Marcus.
Loveta leaves behind her loving family, daughters, Maxine Torian of New Boston, Texas and Carolyn Lednicky and her husband, Bernard of Richmond, Texas; son, James "Jim" Payne and his wife, LuClare of Boerne, Texas; seven grandchildren;
five great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2007, at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to an organization of donor's choice.
