Lorraine Ross Thompson, 85, of The Colony, died Sunday , December 3, 2006 at The Vintage in Denton. She was born April 6, 1921 in DeRidder, LA to John L. and Eva A. (Rodgers) Cooper. She was a Private Secretary and a member of the First United Methodist Church of The Colony. A long time member of the Frisco Garden Club

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at The First United Methodist Church, 4901 Page Rd, The Colony, with Rev. Judith Reedy, officiating. Mrs. Thompson is survived by a son Dr. John Howard Thompson, of Weatherford, a daughter, Jeannette R. Winner, of Carrollton, a brother, Robert W. Cooper, and Ralph L. Cooper, of DeRidder, LA and sisters, Helen Rose Dillon, of Las Vegas, NV and Elizabeth Ann Mitchem, of Phoenix, AZ and Hazel Schlegel, of Fort Stockton, and three Grandchildren..
