Lorie Jane Ingram, 52, a loving daughter, sister, aunt and adoptive mother of many kitties from local animal shelters passed away peacefully after a long battle with arthritis on May 2, 2016 in Denton. Lorie was born in Denton, TX on June 2, 1963 the daughter of Doyle Leon Ingram and Vanna Briscoe Ingram.
She is survived by her mother Vanna Ingram; sister Jennifer Wilcox, brother-in-law Kenneth Wilcox; nephews Trace, Hunter, and Landon and several very special cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Doyle Ingram.
Lorie loved cats, shopping, and mexican food. Lorie was very active and supportive of her nephews and loved being able to send them to camps. She also loved to travel with her family.
There will be a private family graveside on Wednesday May 4, 2016 with a public memorial service at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church Cole Chapel, Denton, TX. No visitation is scheduled.
Under the most adverse situations she always had a great attitude and enjoyed life. Lorie completed her BBA & MBA and had a successful career working at several local financial institutions.
Memorial contributions may be made to the City of Denton animal shelter "Linda McNatt" animal shelter or the First United Methodist Church of Denton.
