Loral L. Allen, 82, of Denton, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Denton.
Mr. Allen was born on October 8, 1930 in Quinton, OK to William Nathan and Bessie Clara (Johnson) Allen. He served for twenty-one years in the United States Air Force, serving in both Korea and Vietnam; he worked at Gibson's for ten years; Kroger for ten years and Denton ISD for seven years. He married Gladys Adams on December 16, 1989 in Denton.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the chapel of Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Gladys Allen of Denton; children, Bill and Elaine Allen of Frisco, Ronny and Judy Allen of Aubrey, Jacob Allen of Denton, Angela Allen of Canton, GA, Jackie Coleman of Denton, Debra Cooper of Dallas,Michele and Brian Walthers of Salem OR; eleven grandchildren, and many, many great grandchildren.
