Lola Rae Sitton, age 82, died on January 26, 2016. Lola was born in Dallas Texas to Ray and Dovie Burgess on March 3, 1933. She attended Irving School systems and graduated from Irving High in 1951. She was married to William Gerald Sitton on March 23, 1951. She is survived by 3 children; Gerald Ray Sitton and his wife Mary, Jason Wayne Sitton and his wife Jessica, and her daughter Cathy Sitton.

Survivors including three Grandchildren, Emily Sitton, Kaylee Gunter, and Mendy Collier all of Denton and one Great Grandson, Pate Collier, also of Denton. Lola has one Sister, Peggy Thompson, of Hurst Texas, and one Niece, Debbie Lowrance and her two children, Hunter Hargis and Pete Lowrance, both of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Lola was very active in earlier years in the Denton Bowling Association. She was President over the Bowling League Association for several years and dedicated much of her time towards the betterment of the Association. She and husband Gerald owned and operated Tom & Jo's Cafe for many years.
