Lois Bernice Lucas age 78 of Denton passed away surrounded by family on Sunday May 24, 2009. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Dan Lucas and granddaughter Brandy Schwartz. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She is survived by her children:  son Wesley Crocker and wife Darlene, daughters Rena Crocker, Jackie Schwartz, and Jeri Elrod. Grandchildren James Crocker and wife Melanie, Kristine Kuehnle and husband Michael, Stephen Schwartz, Chad Schwartz, Chase Schwartz, and Daniel Crocker. Great grandchildren: Garrett Kuehnle, Brayden Kuehnle. Sister Daris Odom.

The visitation will be 7 to 8 pm on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at the Mulkey Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home Denton, Texas. The Graveside Service will be 1 pm on Friday May 29, 2009 at the Houston National "Veterans" Cemetery, in Houston.
