Lois Jennell "Jan" Turney, 77, of Denton passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 16, 2016 in Denton. Jan was born in Mobridge, South Dakota on January 19, 1939 the daughter of Glenn Jonathan Mann and Martha Sherman Mann. Jan retired as a administrative assistant for J.C. Penny & Co. She is survived by her daughter Karen Hollingshead and her husband Stewart of Denton; her son Ron Tacker and his wife Janet of Bowie, TX ; sister LaVon Porter of Vancouver, Washington; brothers Ray Mann of Southerlin, Oregon and Bernard Mann of Winston, Oregon; Jan is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton, TX with Bro. Kenneth Moore officiating. A family visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust in Denton.
