Lois Elaine Folsom, 62, 0f Denton, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born September 25, 1944 in Enid, Oklahoma to Raymond and Viola (Whiting) Meier. On October 31, 1964 she was married to Jerry L. Folsom in Ponca City, Okla. She was a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a BA in Math and a graduate degree in Education from the University of New Mexico. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church..

A memorial Mass will be held at 11;00 A.M. on Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton, with FR James Flynn, officiating.

Mrs. Folsom is survived by her husband of Denton, two daughters, Peggy Barton, of Fenton, MO and Deborah Mayville, of Denton, two sons, Jerry T. Folsom and wife Victoria, of Albuquerque, NM, and Craig Folsom, of Los Angeles, CA four sisters, Karen Meier, of Seguin, Mary Jane Easley, of Jones, OK Carol Rae Meier, of Palm Desert, CA and Rita Knudson, of Denver, CO and a brother, Paul Meier, of Ponca City, OK, and Six Grandchildren.
