Lisa Kennedy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Lisa's passion to help others put her on a path in life to become a CNA. Lisa became a hero to many including her family as she never faltered during the trialing times of COVID, putting others above herself to make sure they never felt alone or scared. Lisa fought a long and courageous battle against cancer but was called home on Tuesday January 25 ^th , 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Lisa will be greatly missed by many, but her memory will remain in all those who's lives she touched.

Lisa is preceded in death by her son Hank. She is survived by her mother and father Sandra and Don, sister Lori, brother Michael, husband Doug, daughter Brooke and her husband John, son Doug and his wife Kari, son Nick, and five grandsons: Tyler, Deacon, Billy, James, and Daniel.

Visitation service will be held Monday January 31 ^st , 2022, from 6pm to 8pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery funeral home in Denton. Funeral service will be held Tuesday February 1 ^st , 2022, at 2pm at Mulkey-Bowels-Montgomery funeral home, followed by an interment at Sanger Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the family's GoFundMe to help pay for expenses to allow out of town family to come say their goodbyes.
