Lisa Gail Genova, 49 of Denton, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born November 16, 1963 in Dallas to Edgar and Jean Speak Richardson. She was married to John Rickey Genova on Dec. 10, 1985 in Fort Worth, and he died Jan. 31, 2003. She was a Case Worker with FEMA,

Mrs. Genova is survived by daughters, Jennifer Gordon of Ardmore, OK and Jessica Genova of Denton, a son Justin Genova of Ponder, Mother, Jean Hembree of Denton, brother Randy Richardson of Norman, OK and four Grandchildren, Jake, Rylee, Jacee, and Creek. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother John Mark Richardson and sister Pamela Johnson.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday 6 to 8 P.M. January 2, 2013 at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton and a funeral will be held in the First Baptist Church of Krugerville, TX at 11 A. M. Thursday January 3, 2013 , with Rev. Jeff Tackett, and Rev. Sam Redfearn, officiating.
