Linda Lou (Hines) Thiede, age 57, of Flower Mound, TX, passed away, Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was born December 9, 1950 in Cleburne, TX to Avery Onnen and Laurraine Inez (Sorrells) Hines. She married David Thiede on November 4, 1989 in Carrollton, TX.

Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and teacher.  She was a godly woman who actively served her Lord in her family, church and school.  Teaching always gave her great joy and it enabled her to touch the lives of many children.  She taught in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD and at Coram Deo Academy.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, David Thiede; daughter, Amy Thiede and son, Matthew Thiede, all of Flower Mound; five sisters; one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15th at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville.
