IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Jolly
Cranfill
February 5, 1944 – January 11, 2019
Linda Jolly Cranfill, 74, of Denton, went to be with her Savior Friday, January 11, 2019. Heaven has now become a livelier place!
Linda Cranfill was born on February 5, 1944 in Borger, TX to Marcus and Ellen (Gourley) Jolly. She graduated from Borger High in '62 and continued to treasure her childhood friends throughout her life.
Linda was the cherished wife of James Mac Cranfill. They were married on September 15, 1962 in Borger, TX and modeled a steadfast, adventuresome, loving marriage for 56 years.
Linda leaves a rich legacy that is undeniable and irreplaceable. She was a favorite and friend to all. She was witty and fun and those who know her are sure to have a crazy Linda story (or two). She was always ready for a party and, of course, everyone was invited.
Linda was a passionate, vibrant, Godly wife, mother, Honey Momma (grandmother), sister and aunt. To say she was invested and involved in her family and extended family would be an understatement. And if you met Linda, you would know she had the smartest, cutest, most talented Grandchildren on earth! She was their greatest fan. Year round, you could find Linda cheering in the bleachers.
Linda worshiped at Denton Bible Church for 25 years. She embodied a love and a creative lifestyle of evangelism. Linda always carried Bibles in her car ready to give away. She loved to donate and volunteer at the Salvation Army. She also grew in her faith with her Bible study Princesses.
For over 35 years, Linda owned and operated Linda's Professional Cleaning. She understood the value of strong relationships and was a savvy successful business woman. Linda was committed to her clients and employees, many of whom she considered her closest friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Mac Cranfill of Denton; daughter, Andrea Stillwell and her husband Joe of Copper Canyon; son, Vance Cranfill and his wife, Catherine of Fairview; grandchildren, Makena, Cal, Luke, Nick, Mac; sister, Carol Smith of Amarillo; brother, Mark Jolly and his wife Sharon of Canyon; sister Barbara Dutton and her husband Richard of Palestine.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the chapel of Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton. Her beloved pastor Rev. Tom Nelson will officiate the service.
