Linda Rae Gaston, age 69, died on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Denton Regional Hospital after a major cardiac event. Linda was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 13, 1947 and moved to Texas in 1994 with her sister and best friend Barbara Baldwin. After moving to Texas, Linda worked for Moore Business Solutions and later retired from Verizon communications in 2012 after 16 years of service. Upon retirement Linda enjoyed spending time doing the things she loved: traveling, reading, painting, volunteering at the Denton Community Health Care Clinic and spending time with the beloved family dogs Max and Annie. Recently, Linda was spending a lot of time in Flower Mound supporting her niece and nephew, in opening their own small business, Epic Gelato and enjoying every minute. A memorial service will be held at 11am at Trinity United Methodist Church 633 Hobson Lane, Denton Texas. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Linda's name to the American Heart Association or to the Humane Society.
