Lillian Sims Judkins age 90 of Haltom City passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1931 in Sanger, Texas to her parents Roy Sims and Bernice Chastain Sims.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Judkins of Haltom City, Eddie Judkins and daughter-in-law Michelle of Keller, two daughters, Brenda Lake and son-in-law Noel of Duncanville, Darla Robertson and son-in-law Randy of Bedford, brother-in-law Bob Judkins and wife Elaine of Carrollton, and brother-in-law Raymond Erwin of Denton.
She has seven grandchildren, Michelle, Crystal, Chelsea, Lisa, Christy, Julie, and Kevin. Thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and nieces and nephews. She was proud of each and everyone. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Weldon Judkins, father Roy Sims, mother Bernice Chastain Sims, grandmother Maude Chastain, grandfather B. F. Chastain, and sister-in-law Joyce Erwin.
Lillian worked in her earlier years for Dr. Harry Farber of Denton and several years for Fort Worth floral. Most of her life was spent raising her four children as well as contributing to the care of several of her granddaughters. She was so proud of them and treasured being a part of their lives.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 20 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery funeral home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, Texas. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM with the service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Denton. Holly's Gardens of Denton will provide flowers for the family. Dress will be casual.
