Lewis Aiken Waits, III, 66 of Denton, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.  He was born May 26, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to Lewis Aiken and Ethel (O'Quinn) Waits, Jr.   He was married to Maria Guadalupe Chavez-Villarreal on November 12, 1971 in San Juan, TX  He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He was Manager of EDM Technical Services of Poco Graphics, of Decatur.  Mr. Waits served in U. S. Navy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,  3000  Old North Road, Denton, with Bishop Mike Gwilliam, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Den ton,  in Charge of arrangements

Mr. Waits is survived by his wife, Mary Waits, of Denton  two sisters,  Jane Wright Waits, of Orlando, Fl. And Margaret  May  Waits Spence of Apollo Beach, FL
