Lewis Earl McDonald passed away peacefully in Decatur, Tx on August 3rd of 2025. Lewis was born January 12, 1944, in Dallas, TX. Lewis worked as Plant Manager for General Aluminum from 1969-1983. After leaving GA, he would go on to become an entrepreneur owning many successful businesses alongside his beloved wife Patricia. He lived life large and could tell a story like no other. He always said his biggest accomplishment was his family. He would tell anyone who would listen about how proud he was of his three daughters and grandchildren.

Lewis is preceeded in death by his wife Patricia of 60 years, parents Edgar and Dorothy McDonald; brother Glenn McDonald and sister Doris Hutchison. He is survived by children, Beckie Geer and husband Tyler: Lisa May and husband Joe: Melanie Payne and husband Jake; Grandchildren Blake and wife Taylor, Jody and wife Bailey, Hunter and wife Hannah, Meagan, Riley, Morgan and Max; Great Grandchildren Shia and Riddy; brother Ronnie McDonald and their beloved poodle, Bridgette.

Funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday August 9, 2025, at Mulkey-Bowls-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, TX. Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our father and Papa. We know he and his beloved wife Patricia are wrapped in the arms of Jesus together and no longer in pain.
