Levi Lorvens Harris, age 7, of Aubrey climbed into the lap of Jesus Monday, April 25, 2016 at Grimes St. Joseph Hospital in Navasota, TX.
Levi was born on January 24, 2009 in Bercy, Arcahaie, Haiti. Levi was handpicked by God to be one of three that would complete our family on June 6, 2013. He was 4 years old. He came as a little boy that was afraid of the wide openness of outdoors to being a boy who's favorite place was outside. Riding his bike, hammering nails and fishing were his favorite things to do. He had received many AWANA awards and had just completed his first Sparky book after memorizing more than forty verses along with all the books of the Bible. He will be remembered for his amazingly happy attitude, politeness and thankfulness. Of utmost importance he will be remembered for his tremendous love for Jesus. There was always a "Yes Ma'am" or "Yes Sir" waiting. Levi was always happy to greet a new friend with a handshake followed by, "Hi! My name is Levi, it's nice to meet you!" On Monday, he met Jesus face to face: "Hi! My name is Levi!" Jesus responded, "Yes, I know you!" My Levi will be sorely missed.
