Lester "Muleskinner" Murray Jr. age 77 of Shady Shores passed away April 21, 2008 at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas. He was born April 7, 1931 in La Monte, Missouri to Lester and Goldie (Carver) Murray. He married Mary Madeline Pitcock March 19, 1982 in Denton, Co. He serviced in the U.S. Army was a member of ARRP and worked for the City of Denton before retirement.

He survived by his wife Mary Madeline. Daughters Marsha Howard of Krum, Barbara Canteabury of Beckley, West Virginia and Angie Blankenship of Argyle. Sons Ronnie Gene Murray, Randy Murray of Meadow Bridge, West Virginia and Mark Murray of Argyle. Step children Mary Walker of Aubrey, Carolyn Brown of Fort Worth and Charles Grimes of Shady Shores. 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am Friday April 25, 2008 at Corinth Shiloh Cemetery in Corinth, Texas. The Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Visitation will be 6 to7 Thursday April 24, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home
