Leroy Barber, 92, of Denton, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Denton Regional Medical Center He was born October 18, 1913 in Love Valley, Oklahoma to Jackson L. and Nora O. (Waggoner) Barber. He was married to Lucy Irene Malone, on May 16, 1935 in Lewisville. He is a retired Building Contractor, and was a Member of the Central Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, March 6, 2006 in the Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Shelton, and Rev. Alvis Edmondson, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M. Sunday, March 5, 2006 for visitation.

Mr. Barber is survived by his wife, Lucy of Denton, daughter, Joyce Brearley, of Denton, and two sons Donald Barber, of Corinth, and Dennis Barber, of Locust Grove, Georgia, two brothers, Kenneth Barber and Loy Barber, both of Oklahoma City, OK. Eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
