Leonardo Gomez 45 of Denton, TX went to meet God on Aug. 21, 2005 after a short battle with cancer.

Leo was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 21, 1960 to Zaragoza and Micaela Gomez. He was married to Christina Larkins on July 4, 1992, and they were happily married for 13 years and had one child, Eileen Maria in 1993. Leo had two other children, Kristina and Matthew, from a previous marriage to the late Monica Chansler.

He is survived by his mother, and three sisters and one brother, Micaela, Minerva, Lupe, and Louis and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 5:30 P.M. Monday, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Msgr. Charles King, officiating, with a reception to follow at 6598 FM 2450, Krum, TX.
