Leon Owen passed away April 5, 2009 at age 84. Born March 29, 1925 in Dallas, Texas and served in the Navy during WWII. Was a member of the Assemblies of God Church and served as a deacon for many years and was vice-chairman of the National Action Crusades Council of the Assemblies of God Church. He served as Associate Pastor of Cornerstone Assembly for 10 years. Leon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maxine; Daughter, Kris, Nicole; sons, Dana and Greg, Meno; grandson, Grayson; sister, Wanda Adams and husband, Glen and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Elby and Daisy Owen; sister, Betty and brothers, Billy Jack, Fred, Odell and Ernest. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
