Obituary

Lecil McMahan, 90, of Denton, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Denton Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 25, 1917 in Omaha, TX to Christiopher Columbus and Fannie (Burkhead) Coots. She was married to James R. (Jim) McMahan in Aubrey on September 25, 1933, he died March 5, 1989. She attended the Green Valley School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was retired from the First State Bank after twenty years, and was a Homemaker.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Cliff Feeler, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home 705 N. Locust, Denton, for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday, October 22, 2007.

Mrs. McMahan is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Betty McMahan, of Argyle, Sister, Betty Venable, of Frisco, and Grandchildren, Scotty and Janet McMahan, of Sanger, Brenda and Jim Foster, of Bedford, and Kristy and Mike Wolfe, of Haslet, and seven great grandchildren, Ashleigh and Chris, Addison, Brittany, Courtney, Kaylee, Courtney Leigh, and Josh, and one great grandchild, Gracie..
