Lawrence J. (Larry) Girard, Jr., age 60, passed away Monday, September 1, 2009 at a Lewisville, TX hospital.  Larry was born in Metairie, Louisiana,  June 26th, 1949 to Lawrence J. Girard and Barbara E. Stinnett.  He loved driving his school bus route #421 and cared for all of his riders.  Larry had been married to his soul mate and the love of his life, Tommie Fisette Girard, for thirty eight years.  He is survived by his wife, Tommie Fisette Girard of Double Oak, Texas; children, Lawrence J. Girard, III and his wife, Jennifer of Spearsville, Louisiana, Dayann A. Girard of Chicago, Illinois and Matthew N. Girard of Double Oak, Texas:  grandchildren, Deven Makenzy and Ian Girard: brother, Mark Girard and his wife, Michelle of New Orleans, Louisiana; niece, Kayla Girard and his beloved pets, Roxie, Rosie, Bo and Twix.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be at 10am in the Greenwood Cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday, September 5th, 2009.
