Larry Lynn Painter, age 47, of Flower Mound, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008, while surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Larry was born May 20, 1961 in Greenville TX.   Larry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Catherine Ann Painter of Flower Mound; daughters, Mallory McEwen and her husband, Berek of Corinth and Hailey Painter of Flower Mound; son, Brian Painter of Flower Mound; parents, Larry L. and Cora Ann Painter;  mother in law, Barbara Feiler; sisters, Cheryl Weber and husband, Darren of Houston; brothers, Jeff Painter of Sanger and Ron Painter and wife, Susan of Frisco; sister, Alicia Smith Pitre and husband Mike of Nevada; brother, Jimmy Smith and wife, Tonya of Farmersville.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 7 to 9pm at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church officiated by Reverend Joe Shafer and Dr. John Allen.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.  Larry's family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church or the Larry L. Painter Children's Memorial Fund at any Chase Bank Branch.
