Obituary
Larry Stephen Love, 57, of Denton, lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Denton
Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his family.
Larry was born on May 30, 1954, in St. Louis, MO to Charles William and Maxine (Bailey) Love. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He was married to Anna Marie Demundo on December 26, 1976, in Fayetteville, NC. He served as the Communications Manager for the 911 operation for the City of Lewisville, Texas. He retired in 2004, as a Communications Supervisor.
Larry was very active and had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and baseball. He was a talented artist and had a great sense of humor. His most loved hobby was of course, golf. He played golf with a passion, hitting a hole-in-one on January 25, 2010. Even after being
diagnosed with cancer, he was known to play thirty-six holes a day, five days a week.
Larry is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Love of Denton; sons, Charles William Love of Denton, Anthony Stephen Love, Sr., and his wife, Kristina, of Corinth; sisters, Terri Reft of Garland, Sharon Love of Garland; brothers, Michael Miskelly of Roanoke, Gary Love of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Caitlyn Love, Anthony Stephen Love, Jr., Abigail Elizabeth Love.
A rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday September 22, 2011, at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Visitation will follow until 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2011, at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 2800 Pennsylvania Dr., Denton. Father George will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
