Obituary
Lance K. Hunter, 58, of Sanger, died Friday December 24, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mr. Hunter was born on March 21, 1952 in Denton to Cletis Andrew and Audrey Louise (O'Bryant) Hunter. He was married to Marci Smith on January 14, 1974 in Ardmore, OK. Lance had worked in several trades, including construction, and had retired as a cook.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday January 2, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Rev. Dickie Amyx will officiate the service.
He is survived by he wife, Marci Hunter of Sanger; sons, James Hunter of Sanger, Josh Hunter and his wife Stephanie of Sanger; brothers, Danny Hunter of Shady Shores, T.W. Hunter of Denton; two grandchildren, Lance Austin Hunter and Cody Don Hunter; mother-in-law, Dorothy Smith of Sanger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Hunter.
