IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laloasi Fa'Atoaga
Leaupepe
December 11, 1943 – March 23, 2021
Laloasi Fa'atoaga Leaupepe passed away March 23, 2021, at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Laloasi, born on the island of Savaii, Samoa, in the village of Letui, is the fourth oldest of twelve. She is a master with her hands and made lovely Samoan crafts and gifts. She was a hard worker, selling items at the market by day, and working the cannery overnight. She had pride in what she did and always made sure that her children never went without, especially on holidays.
Her simplest pleasures in life were time spent with family. She loved family gatherings, cooking, baking, singing, dancing, and laughing. She was strong in her faith and gave to the church freely and whole heartedly, even if it was the last dime. She had the ability to find joy in all that she did. She was a happy person.
Her smile and personality were contagious to everyone she met. Laloasi is survived by her husband, Logovii; daughters Uanita, Ta'aloga, and Fiti; sons Pati, Ioelu, and Ifitofoga; brothers Misa Semo, Semau Isaako, Fa'alua, Fa'atali, and Tasitone; sister Fa'avevelaalofi; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren .
