Obituary
Kirk Stephen Johnson, 60, of Denton, died Sunday December 26, 2010 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Johnson was born on April 23, 1950 in Chester, PA to George William and Margaret Lorraine (Wood) Johnson. He was a Quality Engineer for Abbott Diagnostic Laboratories. He was an active member of Texas Wings Flying Club and enjoyed his hobby of flying RC airplanes. He was married to Barbara Ticktin on August 29, 1986 in Rock Hill, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday December 30, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, Denton, TX. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ticktin Johnson of Denton; daughters, Kristen Johnson Robinson of Charlotte, NC, Kaitlyn Wood Johnson of Stillwater, OK; stepdaughter, Erin Lee Letkemann of Apex, NC; son, Alex Kyle Johnson of Raleigh, NC; stepson, Travis Stewart Matthews of Raleigh, NC; brother, Karl Scott Johnson of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Kade Robinson, Reilly Robinson, Mason Letkemann; mother, Margaret Wood Johnson of Boothwyn, PA.
