Kevin McGlynn, age 53, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 29, 1954 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Donald F. and Jeanne M. Dolan McGlynn. Kevin married Suzanne M. Conaboy on December 5, 1976 in Scranton. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville, Texas and was President and Owner of Solutiontek, a software consulting service.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; sons, Shaun McGlynn of Sante Fe, New Mexico and Shamus McGlynn of Flower Mound; father, Donald F. McGlynn of Scranton, Pennsylvania; sister, Jeanne M. McGlynn of Arlington, Virginia and brothers, Daniel McGlynn of Scranton, Michael McGlynn of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Donald McGlynn of Scranton. He was preceded in death by his mother and by a brother, Timothy McGlynn on October 6, 1996.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. A prayer service and visitation will be held 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the church. The family requests memorial contributions made to Lake Vista Cancer Center, 2790 Lake Vista Dr., Lewisville, Texas 75067. A memorial service will be held in Scranton at a later date.
