Obituary

Kennith Howard Irick, 98 of Aubrey, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Denton. He was born April 9, 1917 in Aubrey to Claude Cary and Eva Viola (Howard) Irick. He was married to Juanita Eggleston on July 2, 1939 in Denton. He is a member of the First Christian Church of Aubrey, and he was retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road as a Cashier in the Freight Office. He served in the U S Navy during WW II, Served on the Aubrey City Council, retired from Aubrey Volunteer Fire Dept. and served as a Trustee for the Aubrey ISD.
Mr. Irick is survived by daughters, Evalois Owens and husband Buddy, Vinita Tribble and husband Leslie both of Aubrey, Eight grandchildren, D'Ann Owens, Jill Alverson, Chrystopher Owens, Les Tribble, Bunni Tribble, Jeremy, Ryan, and Zachary Irick, and thirteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Irick, son Scott Irick, sisters Bessie Mohon, and Thelma Foster, brothers John David Irick, Twyman Irick, and William Collin Irick. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve ar pallbearers.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Gateway Baptist Church, 2201 N. Bell Ave. Denton from 6 P.,M. until 8 P.M. with a funeral service on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:30P.M. also at the Church with Rev. Buddy Owens, and Rev. John Clay officiating.
