Kenneth Reynolds, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away surrounded by family November 26, 2021 in Denton, TX.
Born in Wellsville, NY on April 14, 1938, the son of Wilbur and Alice (Brands) Reynolds, Kenneth was the youngest of three children. Growing up on small family dairy farm in Scio, NY, he developed a strong work ethic and perseverance, helping him to overcome many challenges and health issues throughout the course of his life. He graduated from Scio Central School, studied engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1962.
The majority of Kenneth's 38-year career was with Xerox Corp., where he managed new product development. Although he never cared for beer, Kenneth holds a patent for the invention of a pressurized beer tap while working for Conax Corp. He also supported the U.S. Apollo space program, working on Saturn-V systems while at Moog Inc.
He enjoyed aviation and was an avid private pilot and active member in several antique and WWII flying organizations including Confederate Air Force (CAF), Mid-America Air Group (MAAG), and Fighting Air Command (FAC).
Kenneth was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather (Paw-Paw). He loved God, his family, and especially cherished time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Floyd Reynolds. Survived by his loving wife Barbara of 61 years, sister Harriet, son Jeff (Kristin), daughter Michele (Mike), and grandchildren Allyson (PJ), Nicole, John, Colby, Carson, and Cooper.
Kenneth's funeral service will be held at Denton Bible Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10am. The family will have a private burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Denton.
