Obituary

Kenny "Ken" Hankins Bradley, 81, of Denton, died peacefully on January 22, 2023 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Mr. Bradley was born on September 6, 1941 in Galveston to Earl Wilton and Latrell (Hankins) Bradley. He was married to Melissa Ann Stewart on December 26, 1970 in Leesville, LA. He served in the United States Army as an M.P. He attended Texas Tech. before graduating from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. Ken began a career in funeral service that included owning Goen Funeral Home in Denton and later working for Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth for over thirty years. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge and a longtime Red Raiders fan.

Ken is survived by his wife of over fifty-two years, Melissa Ann Bradley of Denton; daughters, Gail Renee Bradley of Denton, Angela Bradley of San Antonio; son, Richard Wayne Bradley of Sanger; grandchildren, Charles Dotson, Jason Dotson; nephews, Kirk Bradley of Houston and Kyle Bradley of Houston. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Bradley.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr., Denton.
