Keishun Cuchens Obituary

Keishun Kyler Cuchens passed away unexpectedly from lifelong asthma at the age of 25 years old on July 15, 2022 in Denton, Texas.

Keishun was born in McKinney, Texas on December 26, 1996 and was adopted into the Cuchens family on December 27, 2012. Keishun graduated high school at Denton Calvary Academy. He attended Lamar University his freshman year, and later briefly attended the University of North Texas. Keishun's passion was basketball, and he had hoped to one day become a high school coach and math teacher. Keishun was anticipating the arrival of his first child this February 2023 with Aketzali Muneton.

He is survived by his parents Billy and Laurie, along with siblings Isaac, Vivianna, Jayden, and Jasmine Cuchens. Brothers JT Tennison, Tyler Propes, Nimoy Tennison Jr., JoJo Tennison, Terrance Srader, Keylan Tennison, and Kaiden Tennison as well as sisters Kaylynn Riggins, Janae Tennison, Diamond Tennison, and Keioni Tennison. Keishun was preceded in death by sister Shandra Propes.

Funeral services will be held at Denton Bible Church at 2 pm on Monday, August 1, 2022.
